Let’s help you take the final push to start changing your life.
How do I know if Hidden Strength Physical Therapy Studio is a good fit for me?
My priority is your wellness, so to make sure you would find my services beneficial, I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation.
Will my pelvic floor PT require an internal exam?
An internal exam is often part of the assessment process, as it helps me evaluate the strength, tone, and function of the pelvic floor muscles. However, this is always discussed beforehand, and you can choose whether to proceed with it based on your comfort level.
How long/often will I need to come in for therapy?
The length of therapy varies depending on your condition and goals. Some patients may see improvement in a few sessions, while others may need several months of treatment. Your therapist will provide an estimate after your initial assessment. In general, I prefer you see some level of improvement by at least the first 4 sessions. Sessions are typically 1x/week for optimal results.
Will pelvic floor PT be painful?
Pelvic floor PT is generally not painful. The exercises and manual techniques are designed to be gentle and within your comfort level. I will adjust treatments to ensure they are as comfortable as possible.
Is pelvic floor PT only for women?
No! I specialize in treating men and male specific abdominopelvic dysfunction. All our welcome in my office.
What can I expect at my first appointment?
I will conduct a thorough evaluation where we review your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and more. Depending on your symptoms, there may be an internal exam. You will go home with tons of new knowledge, and some exercises or techniques to help you get better.
What should I wear?
Loose, comfortable clothing that you can move around in is preferred. No need to dress up for me!
How can I hold an appointment?
After your free discovery call, we will schedule your initial evaluation. From there, so long as you complete your evaluation accelerator paperwork and have a valid card on file, the appointment is yours!
Can I reschedule my session?
Absolutely, you can. There is no charge to change an appointment, unless it is less than 24 hours notice. If it is less than 24 hours, there will be a late reschedule fee of 50% of the full cost of your appointment.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, I do not accept insurance. This allows me to provide the best care possible as insurance often places restrictive constraints on my full scope of practice.
Do I need a referral?
For most cases, no. Colorado has direct access for patients to come to PT without a referral. Since I am out of network with insurance, this makes it even more simple.
Is there parking?
The office only has street parking, right in front of the office or on Newton Street, just around the corner.
Is the building wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately not. There are steps to come into the building so if this is a limitation for you, we can discuss other care options.
